I’ve been lifting freeweights at home for about 3 years now and I’ve been boxing for about 5 years . I’m looking to get bigger and more powerful . Does this machine look effective ?

It says that it has 200 pounds of resistance(probably wouldn’t be good for squats cause I can squat 380) but how is that possible if there’s no weights attached . And can you gradually increase resistance or is it just set to one level .

Tower 200
I have answers to your questions and some of my own that hopefully someone can answer.
The resistance is stepped up by the three different bands that you can see from the video. Each simulates a different ‘weight’ through resistance and combinations of each add up to different amounts.
Using resistance bands are great for training on fighting moves. Depending on how big you are now depends on how long you will use the Tower 200. It is very affordable and extensive compared other home gyms but I’m concerned with it’s quality and cost of part replacement.
It seems to be a good standby gym for the office or even home if you don’t make it to the gym on time but I wouldn’t rely on it to make me more powerful or bigger. I would use it more for maintenance exercise and for focusing on specific muscle groups.
It’s relatively new so I’m waiting to see what more crops up about it over time before moving forward with a purchase. I suggest doing the same. The site isn’t fully informative. Hopefully time will change that.
